James Foster Is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Jazz Performance and Composition, with 27 years of experience in the music industry. James specializes in management, music production, sales and marketing. While attending Berklee, Mr. Foster worked with Alan Haymond Concert Promotions during the late 1970’s, and has collaborated as an arranger, producer, and performer with numerous well-known names in the music industry including: The late Lou Rawls, Dizzie Gillespie, Buddie Rich and Chris Bender, and also Leo Sayer, Maurice Starr, The New Edition, Ritchie Cole, Melissa Manchester, Greg Abate, Sam “The Wiz” Cobb, and groups like Tower of Power and The Crusaders, Kevin Eubanks from the Tonight Show, three-time Grammy Nominee - George Karras, Studio designer -Tom Hidley are some of the Artists James has collaborated and worked with. He also worked with Alan Haymond Productions on concert promotions.
His debut album, entitled “Night Games”, is a collection of smooth jazz tunes, guaranteed to get the crowd in the mood! With songs ranging from love ballads to grooving rhythms and links, audiences will enjoy the sounds of James Foster’s tenor and alto saxophones.
